Rachael Shields

Rachael Shields, PLA is a PhD Candidate in Design Studies at the UW–Madison School of Human Ecology. Her research aims to enhance the lives of older adults by rethinking how the environments they inhabit or visit are designed. One specific interest is incorporating novelty, which promotes cognitive health, among other benefits.
