CARE promotes timely and relevant research focused on care of older adults by:
- Convening a campus network of research faculty, clinical faculty, graduate students and staff with varied interests and approaches related to aging, older adult health and well-being, and long-term care
- Promoting inter-professional collaboration and community engagement, to strengthen and inform nursing research and to contribute towards evidence-based practice
- Providing forums for researchers to share their work with other academics, clinicians, care providers and the public
CARE has connected me to clinical faculty and research faculty. It’s the clearest link I’ve seen in the school between clinical and research faculty, which provides opportunities to work on projects.
