CARE Annual Report

In 2025, CARE:

  • More than doubled the number of CARE U trainers statewide, to 51 total
  • Reached 75 direct care staff through CARE U workshops led by us or our new trainers
  • Recruited two-thirds of participants in CARE U workshops and train-the-trainers from rural areas
  • Grew the CARE Affiliate program to include 44 faculty and graduate students across 18 campus departments
  • Organized 12 research meetings with the Boards of Older Adult Advisors (BOAAs) and three campus talks on the BOAAs’ community aging research agendas
