Biography

Kristen Pecanac, PhD, RN conducts research into how conversations between healthcare professionals, patients and their families shape treatment decision-making. Her goal is to reduce stress and suffering for patients and their family members by improving communication. She is the Helen Denne Schulte Professor of Nursing.
