Yoonsoo Eo
Yoonsoo Eo, MSN, RN, is a PhD student in the UW–Madison School of Nursing. Her research focuses on promoting recovery and improving long-term health outcomes among intensive care unit (ICU) survivors, particularly older adults. Specifically, she is interested in understanding post-ICU symptom experiences and in developing and testing post-ICU symptom self-management interventions.
"Older adults account for more than half of ICU admissions and are especially vulnerable to severe symptoms during and after hospitalization," she explains.
