CARE informs state and federal policy initiatives by:
- Providing evidence and expertise on care of older adults to policymakers
- Serving on committees, boards and work groups at state and federal levels
- Inviting policymakers to participate in roundtables, panels, and planning groups that advise CARE research and dissemination efforts

A coalition of varied stakeholders convened to set priorities for improving nursing home quality, identify useful tools for creating change, create provider toolkits and and create mechanisms for dissemination
Pennsylvania Nursing Home Quality Improvement
This two year project resulted in a number of recommendations to Pennsylvania Governor Wolf and the Pennsylvania Department of Health
